Great way to kick off the new year with a Lyrics Born concert. He played down at the Oxford Art Factory in Sydney to an audience of about 500. Total guess there but it's a pretty intimate venue. Didn't stop him from blowing the roof of it though. This is the 3rd time I've gone out to see LB, all at different venues (The Metro and The Forum) but it seems no cage can keep this guy. He is the Martin Scorcese of crowd participation. With his 3 piece band and partner in crime, Joyo Velarde, he makes you feel like you'll be letting him down if you don't lose your shit and try to sing louder than him. Another great night.
